Our wedding in Kerala, India. February 2006.

On the first week of February 2006 we'll get married in Kerala, India's southern state. Indian weddings are a big event, which last for some days. We decided to adopt this local custom and enjoy a longer time with our dear guests. Instead of one evening we plan a whole vacation together in one of the most special and beautiful places on earth. It's a good opportunity to show that India has something to offer for everyone. It is not only dirt, beggars and spicy food. It also has beautiful beaches and fancy hotels that can pamper anyone. So we are not only inviting you to our wedding we are inviting you to join us on our honeymoon.
In Kerala you can almost forget you are in India, but at the same time you can enjoy the beautiful and special mixed cultures of the Portuguese and Dutch colonialism as well as the local traditions which include Hindus and also the old Jewish community of Cochin which will host our wedding.
